What's my Andrew ID? Your Andrew Account is your key to access many of the university's computing services such as the Carnegie Mellon Web Portal, computing clusters, and e-mail - it's the prefix to your @andrew.cmu.edu email address. If you're not sure what your Andrew ID is, search for yourself at the Carnegie Mellon Directory.

What's my SMC? SMC stands for Student Mail Code, and is the four digit number that defines your mailbox at Carnegie Mellon. If you don't know your SMC yet, you can find it at Carnegie Mellon Postal Services.

Why are you collecting my contact information? We ask for a little bit of contact information for a couple reasons. For instance, your phone number is critical in case your tech head needs to get in touch with you about a last minute change. Previously, tech staff needed to fill out their phone numbers and other contact information at the beginning of every production - now, you'll only have to do it once. We use your SMC to process reimbursement payments if you ever spend any money on behalf of S'n'S - no more providing your SMC to the Managing Director. And don't worry, we won't share your information with other S'n'S members who have accounts if you don't want it shared, and it will never be seen by anyone who doesn't have an account with Scotch on the Web.
